The thing this site does differently
Every gym directory in India will show you a list. None of them will tell you what a membership costs, because that requires doing research instead of scraping a competitor. So that is what this site leads with: a fee table for every city, broken down by budget, mid-range and national-chain gym, monthly through annual, with the discount arithmetic printed underneath so you can argue with it.
The listings themselves come from OpenStreetMap and nothing else. That makes them smaller in number and larger in honesty: what you see on a listing page is what the map holds, and where the map holds nothing, the page says nothing rather than making something up.

How the register is built
- Every venue is pulled from OpenStreetMap through the Overpass API, city by city — 125 cities in the current build, each with its own refresh date printed on its own sheet.
- Unnamed objects are dropped, venues are filed to a city and then a locality by distance, and every field is copied rather than inferred.
- Fee ranges are researched at the level of a city band × gym tier, reviewed July 2026. Longer commitments are derived from the monthly range by the published multipliers.
- Nothing is sold. There is no featured tier, no sponsored row and no ranking to buy, so ordering is alphabetical, by distance, or by count.

The 24 city sheets holding the most entries, with the crest count and the mid-range monthly fee for each. Every one carries its own fee table.
What gets recorded
Six kinds of venue, each drawn with its own mark and counted separately on every sheet.
A type sheet is published for a city wherever at least three venues of that kind are recorded — see any city register for the ones that exist there.

How many gyms are on GymFinder India?
1,843 fitness venues across 125 cities, all sourced from OpenStreetMap. That is fewer than the aggregators claim, because they count listings scraped from elsewhere and we count venues that exist on an open map anyone can check.
Does GymFinder publish gym fees?
City-level ranges, yes — by tier of gym and by length of commitment, on every city page and in full on the राष्ट्रीय फ़ीस गाइड. A price attached to a named gym, never. Membership pricing changes constantly and is negotiated at the counter; publishing a specific figure for a specific gym would be a fiction dressed as data.
Is this list free, and is any of it sponsored?
Free, and no. There is no way to pay for placement, no featured tier and no sponsored listing. The site is funded by advertising and by links to the PeakForm challenge, both of which are visibly labelled.
Why is my city not here?
Either it is not among the 159 cities covered, or nothing has been mapped in it yet — a city page is only published when at least one real venue exists in the data. Tell us and we will look, or add the gyms yourself in OpenStreetMap and they will appear at the next rebuild.
